"Blessed rather are those
who hear the word of God and keep it!"
Luke 11:28
"If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31).
And by this we may be sure that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He who says "I know him" but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:3-4).
"You seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God" (John 8:40).
